Humorous Stories - Rubber DuckyA local tire-maker, whom Tickle Feather will identify as 'Mitch' was reported to have created a major scene at the city swimming pool last Saturday night. It appears that a hostile argument broke out between Mitch and his Rubber Ducky. On Friday night, Toy Boat, a close friend of Rubber Ducky's, disclosed Mitch's profession which was new news to Ducky who had believed his bathtub friend to be a diver. Discovering that Mitch was mutilating rubber to create round road mowers was too much for Ducky to handle.
Once he and Mitch arrived at the pool, Ducky jumped out of Mitch's pocket then proceeded to spray him with a can of mousse, then sped away into the deep end of the pool. Mitch was observed by bystanders pleading for Ducky to come back to him as he didn't know how to swim. Many heard Ducky quack out, "Oh? And you told me that you were a diver." After two hours of negotiations, Ducky exited the water and begrudgingly accompanied Mitch home but refused to ride in his pocket. Mitch has agreed to therapy as well as enrolling in a much-needed swimming class to amend matters. But Ducky says that things will never be ducky again unless Mitch changes his line of work.
