United States Engaged in Political Civil WarIf we could cut through the invisible garble, we'd see a Republican armed with an oozie and a Democrat with a bazooka - both weapons aimed at one another in the form of a forked-tongue. As the American public looks into the glass Whitehouse, we see what our political decision makers can't see - a gang of grown kids squabbling over who gets to pull the wagon, oblivious to the American people sitting inside. Sad but so, it doesn't look like relief's in store for anytime soon. Both sides will continue to argue over who is the best and the brightest. Frankly, we might be better off if we had one party with several candidates so that the Blame Game would be centralized to the candidates attacking one another rather than the respective parties. And most Americans appear to be getting fed-up with party brawls. Perhaps all the visible arguing represents a deeper, inner pool of trouble which appears evident in many politicians. Sexual issues, alcohol dependency, drug use, financial mismanagement, and ethnic ignorance are just a few of recent stories involving our law makers that have recently unfolded in the news. The desires of the American people are rather simple, something that most politicians cannot relate to. Americans want to be told the truth. Americans want a job - and a decent wage to go along with it. Americans want affordable food, housing and education. Americans want the ability to pay for heating and cooling during those sour months of the year. Americans want to be able to get health care when necessary - and they want security during those Golden Years. Americans want peace and to feel safe. So how could anyone who already has all these things relate with those so in need? Considering the high wages made by those in Washington in comparison with the common middle-class American, it just looks like these folks would at least act their age, doesn't it?
